TeamUnify and OnDeck never wrote your practices
TeamUnify is now SportsEngine Motion, and the OnDeck app was retired and replaced by the Motion app. Both run the club. Neither one is where you write Tuesday’s practice.

Two different jobs that keep getting sold as one
A club platform exists to run an organization: take the money, register the athletes, enter the meets, email the families, host the site. It is bought by a board or an administrator, and it is judged on whether the season starts smoothly.
Coaching software exists to help one person write a better practice and know what it did. It is bought by the coach, and it is judged at 5:40 in the morning with a whiteboard marker in hand. Those two jobs get bundled in marketing because they are sold to the same club, but they are not the same product, and the coaching half is usually the thin one. That is the gap this is built for.
Where the club platform is the right call
If what you actually need is registration, dues, family accounts, meet entries, or a team website, you need a club platform and MySwimSet is not one. We have deliberately not built any of it, and we are not going to. Nothing here suggests dropping Motion; the normal setup is a club platform for the office and MySwimSet for the coaching.

What happened to the OnDeck app?
TeamUnify rebranded to SportsEngine Motion, announced in September 2024 with the transition completed by November 15, 2024, and the OnDeck mobile app was replaced by the SportsEngine Motion app. Club notices sent to members told users to download SportsEngine Motion and said their login stays the same. If you searched for OnDeck and landed here, that is what happened to it. Verify current details with SportsEngine directly.
Is MySwimSet a replacement for TeamUnify or SportsEngine Motion?
No, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. Motion runs the business of a club: registration, billing, family accounts, communication, meet entries, the team website. MySwimSet does none of that and has no plans to. What it replaces is the part neither TeamUnify nor OnDeck ever did, which is writing the practice, running it on deck, and turning a season of practices into a report per swimmer. Many programs run both.
Did OnDeck let coaches write workouts?
Not according to the tools TeamUnify published for it. The coach-facing list covered account and swimmer management, attendance tracking and reporting, best times, time standards, meet entry creation, billing, messaging, volunteer jobs, a multi-timer stopwatch, a time converter, and a pace calculator. Practice or workout writing was not among them. That gap is the reason this page exists.
How much does TeamUnify cost?
It is not published. As of August 2026 there is no public price list for TeamUnify or SportsEngine Motion; pricing is quoted, and clubs generally report per-athlete style billing. MySwimSet publishes its prices: $19/month or $149/year for one coach, $49/month or $399/year for up to five, with no per-swimmer fee, and it is free right now.
Our club already pays for Motion. Why add anything?
You may not need to. If your coaches are happy writing practices in a notebook, a spreadsheet, or a group chat, that is a real answer and it costs nothing. Coaches usually come to us when the season is the problem rather than the practice: nobody can say who has actually improved since September, what a parent should be told at the end-of-season meeting, or which swimmers are close to a cut. That record has to be built from practices and attendance, which is the part the club platform is not doing.
